April Showers, May Flowers by Gail Gupton |
|
Perhaps it's because 'spring is in the air' here
in the Northern Hemisphere . . . perhaps it's the budding of the leaves and
flowers that put into the minds of people the idea of supply. A great number
of people recently have felt challenged by the word, 'supply' and have come
to me for help. They see abundance unfolding naturally in nature but wonder
why monetary abundance eludes them and fails to appear naturally in their
personal lives.
Supply, and the seeming lack of it, is a hard nut to crack. I know. I've been there and still have to remind myself regularly what real supply is. The world has a concept of supply being something we need to get; to work for; to borrow, to steal. In that concept lies a sense of limitation. The belief that one has limited abilities or limited resources is likened unto a dam which automatically blocks the flow. Spring brings with it new life. We see change in the outward world. Now let's change the inner one. It comes down to principle. The principle of supply is natural abundance. Yet, with limited human view, one tends to leave themselves out of the picture. One does not have to strive for something they already have. "The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof" (Ps 24:1). The earth is a manifestation of Spirit, which contains ALL. In Truth, the earth contains ALL Spirit is and has; not just oceans and flowers and rainbows. The earth includes mankind and everything mankind needs for fulfillment and completion. Get out your wallet. Look at it deeply. Look at the color, the shape, the size, the design, the substance. From where did that wallet come? Not who, but where? Where did the idea come from to create a wallet in the first place? Where did the color come from? Where did the substance of it come from? Now look deeper. What is the purpose of a wallet? Is your wallet fulfilling its purpose? With a concept of emptiness (empty lives, empty bank account) comes nothing. This is not psychological. A spiritual truth underlies every activity. The leaves on a tree or the flowers from a seed appear due to the principle of nature. In our human lives, understanding the spiritual principle of fulfillment releases the effects of that principle. Go back and read the scriptural quote again. "The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof". Look at your wallet again. See beyond the appearance. See the ideas that went into creating that wallet. See the principle that molded that wallet with shape and design. See how that wallet contains a purpose of holding something you cannot currently see there. Spiritual principles are invisible. God is the principle behind every activity, every substance, every form, every shape, everything seen and unseen. God is the Infinite being responsible for all, because God IS all. Grasp that truth. God is ALL. The nature of God is fulfillment, completion, love, life, wisdom, intelligence. You have all of God within you. The realization makes it flow, like the natural flowing of streams refreshes the earth and brings new life to plants and animals. You have all the tools. Ideas come from the Infinite invisible. Infinite means never-ending. These new infinite abundant ideas always unfold at the right time in a person's life. With open eyes we can recognize them and act accordingly, being led along the clear stream water to abundant lakes and rivers. If the tender budding leaves of spring opened in the frozen winter, they would die. The dormancy is a safe haven for the little invisible buds to live while they await the warm weather and the need to push forward into completion. One principle leads to another and another and another. This is fulfillment. One's limited view of supply blocks the stepping forward process. There is no fear in God. Gods leads us to our rightful activity and our rightful purpose of completion, not because God does, but because God IS the activity and the purpose. Understanding the principle is the first step. All is well. |
