SPIRITUAL METAMORPHOSIS - MAKING THE TRANSITION, by Gail Gupton
Computer technology allows one to take two images and morph them, gradually changing one into the other. It is also called "fading" one image into the other. Regardless of the name, however, the process is the same.

Often an insect is used as an analogy for the lowly creature trodding the earth. A caterpillar cocoons itself in solitude only to emerge free from limitation as a butterfly and more beautiful in detail than one can perceive with the naked eye. We do not know what occurs in the cocoon. We do not know what causes the transition. Actually, we don't even think about it in relation to the insect. On the human plane, when this transition occurs, it is from mortality to immortality. But, again, we do not know what was, or is, in the solitude consciousness of an individual except through observation of his or her activities and words.

Change is always occurring. When one passes from our sight, as with the butterfly who spreads its wings in upward flight, there is liberation from the form. The morphing from one stage of life to another is a natural order of things. God is changing form. God is always changing - in the wind, in the flower, in the cloud. But what of that which is seemingly left behind?

Since God is ALL and omnipresent, there cannot be any void. Since God is LOVE, there cannot be any grief. Only when one does not recognize and realize the nature of God, will the opposite effect seem a reality. After all, how can a person experience one without the other? With the realization of God's allness and perfection, the seeming negative feelings and emotions dissolve away. This, too, is liberation.

Yes, human emotions do exist and we feel them. We feel them in sorrow, in pain, in worry. It is the Christ within that eliminates that which is not of God. The Bible states that Jesus told his disciples, "If I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you." The Comforter is the Christ. The Comforter is that invisible Presence, the spirit of God that lives within our being - that IS our being - that is being our life, His life.

I had been used to depending on a person for comfort. I depended on a person as my provider and companion. I depended on a person for guidance and direction. Now that person has "gone away", as did Jesus, and the Comforter has come forth in his place.

Joel Goldsmith told his students during his last days, "My song has been sung". Bob's work was done through this web site and will continue as a Comforter to many people. He departed from this world on November 23, 2003, and left behind a work to finish in spirit and by grace. With the help of those who receive this newsletter, or someone you know who is knowledgeable in publishing, I would like to offer some type of publication entitled "Seekers of Truth - A Window Into People's Beliefs and What They're Willing To Give Up to Attain Spiritual Understanding". Bob's computer contains thousands of forms with password request information that is worthy of sharing.

I will welcome wisdom in this area from those whose lives Bob, my husband, may have touched. Furthermore, if you have a comment you would like included in a special section, please advise.
